Hello! Gosh I feel like I need to reintroduce myself after taking a 3+ month hiatus from the blog. Since I last posted a lot has happened… Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years… and you know, life. It felt great to get back out shooting again this weekend with a token sunny, yet frigid, day in Seattle. I thought my Cuyana trench coat would be enough for warmth… but I was gravely mistaken. Nevertheless, it is still one of the most flattering, classic trench coats out there and a staple in my closet. Read More
Wow, can you believe we are at the end of April already? It’s definitely been a full month as well as my birthday month. For my birthday this year my hubby bought me a trench coat that I’ve been eyeing for a while now. It’s a trench from Cuyana, I’m so in love with the minimalistic look the craftsmanship of the jacket too. It is handcrafted in Italy and of a water-resistant cotton fabric – perfect for a stormy Seattle day. Also, the price tag just below $400 is not too bad either especially when you look at trenches from Burberry and similar brands easily run $1,000. Moving on from the trench I also recently purchased these high-waisted pants by Wilfred from Aritzia. I’ve said this before and I’ll keep saying it I love that high-waisted pants have made their way back to be a chic look again in women’s fashion. There’s nothing quite like a great cut high-waisted pair of pants that can elevate an outfit to next-level chic. Keep reading on to see more of this trench. xoxo loves!
Now that Thanksgiving is over it truly feels like the holiday season is in full swing, and so are the sales! If you were brave enough to go out to the mall on Black Friday then kudos to you. I actually did venture out on Friday for two specific items on sale: a Cuisinart coffee maker at Macy’s and a pair of black Sam Edelman booties from Nordstrom. I’d been eyeing these booties and once they went on sale I had to have them. Click read more below to see the rest of this look and shop similar items.
