Casual Spring Look

spring, fashion, style, casualI love incorporating soft pinks and grays into my everyday style, which is what inspired the outfit in this post. Recently, my mom sent me a care package with a bunch of goodies including this gray jacket from Max Jeans. These soft colors are perfect for incorporating into outfits for spring. Also, a big shout out to these Banana Republic jeans. I went shopping recently for new jeans and literally went to all the stores in the mall to try jeans on and found nothing until I went to Banana. These are the most comfortable and great-fitting jeans I’ve had in a long time. Check out the rest of my casual, spring outfit below!

Shades of White

sweater, white, neutrals, metallics, sperrys, style

It’s been several weeks since I’ve posted but a lot has happened in my life in those few short weeks.

  1. I started a new job at a new public relations agency and I’ve been so busy getting up to speed.
  2. I got engaged over the weekend to the love of my life!! *be prepared to start seeing more wedding style inspiration over the next year on the blog as I work to plan all the details

Since I last posted we’ve also gone through a season change – I’m so happy spring is finally here. That means I can start pulling out clothes that I haven’t seen in a good 7 months. In styling the outfit in this post I wanted to have a lot of ‘whites’ for a clean, fresh look appropriate for this season. My chunky b&w sweater was a great steal from T.J. Maxx along with the white pants and Nine West purse.

Tulle Skirt – Celebrating One Year!

tulle, skirt, lulus, fashion, style

It’s hard to believe that I started With Love, Amanda just one year ago. Time has really flown by and I’ve definitely learned a lot since jumping into the world of blogging. I like to think that I’m finally starting to find my own voice and style. I really didn’t know what I wanted my blog to be when I started. I know at the beginning I was more career-focused and have slowly shifted towards style and fashion. I do plan on creating more PR/career-focused posts in the near future, but recently I’ve really been enjoying the style and fashion one’s that I’ve been doing over the past few months.

To celebrate my one year anniversary, I’m excited for the new design and look my blog has taken over. I’d been thinking about moving my blog from Blogger to WordPress and finally I made the jump. Somehow I didn’t screw it up either, but there were definitely a lot of moments that I thought I may have ruined my site forever. Regardless, I’m really happy with how the migration and redesign turned out.

Now to the really fun part: the outfit! I’m such a girly-girl and could not resist getting myself a tulle skirt. This is the very first one that I’ve ever owned and wearing it makes me feel like a ballerina. I found this particular skirt on LuLu’s (link here, but currently sold out). It definitely has a lot more poof than the image on LuLu’s but I still really like it. Since this particular skirt is sold out, if you’re in the market for a tulle skirt you should check out Bliss Tulle. They’ve got some of the most beautiful tulle skirts I’ve ever seen.

Here’s to year two of blogging, thanks to everyone who’s helped me along the way! I’m really excited to see where things go with With Love, Amanda. Click read more to see more from this outfit post!Read More
