Last week I received an early birthday present from my mom and sister, this beautiful blush pink Michael Kors trench coat. I’ve been wanting to add a pink trench to my outerwear collection to make my spring outfits more versatile. I think its safe to say you’ll be seeing a lot more of this jacket this season. This one was found at TJ Maxx but I’m also loving this one from Asos and this one from French Connection. In my opinion, the blush pink trench is a definite must-have for any outfit this spring. I was so excited to finally break out a spring maxi dress last weekend when we had a lovely sunny day here. This is one that was a hand-me-down from my mom (similar here and here) as it was too long of a dress for her so lucky me being tall enough for it to fit perfectly! In addition to the pretty floral prints I also am loving the key hole, which gives it a little some extra. Since it was still a bit chilly out I paired this dress with a lightweight blazer which was also featured here paired high-waisted denim. Adding a blazer (check out this one) on top of this creates a nice office-chic look. I’ve rounded up a few other of my favorite floral maxi dresses below, happy shopping!
Now that it’s officially spring I decided it is time break out the off-the-shoulder blouse. I’ve had this one which I found at LOFT’s end of summer sale last season but haven’t had nice enough weather to wear it until now. Luckily this weekend provided two sunny days to break up all the recent rain. If you go to almost any fashion blog you’ll see the off-the-shoulder blouse is definitely having a big moment. Mine from LOFT is sold out now but I’ve found several similar options here, here and here – all of which I really love. Keep reading below to see more from this look.
I’m fairly certain we are permanently stuck in winter here in Seattle but I’m more than ready to start dressing like it’s spring. Because it was cold and raining pretty heavily we decided to take a trip to the Volunteer Park Conservatory for photos but an added bonus included warmer temps to keep the plants thriving. The tropical plants room was glorious as it was the warmest and even had a little bit of humidity, and for a moment it felt like I was somewhere else. To the outfit details: I recently bought this blush pink midi skirt from ASOS and absolutely love it. I paired it with a old lace top from the LOFT (similar here and here). One of my newest favorite pieces of jewelry are these BaubleBar pink drop earrings, they’re a perfect statement piece for dressing up any outfit (scroll to the next image to see them up-close).
Today the weather in Seattle was crazy! I woke up and it was sunny, I was getting ready and it down poured. Then it cleared up and we rushed to go outside and snap a new outfit post before the rain came back. No matter what, I was determined to dress like it’s spring even though it definitely does not feel like it here. I’ve had this lace J.O.A. skirt since last season but haven’t worn it very often. Because of the rain I decided to throw on my Hunter rain boots with this skirt to face the crazy weather. My lace skirt is not available anymore but I’m loving this DVF floral-lace skirt (currently on major sale) and this French Connection lace skirt with a pom pom hem is super cute and also currently on a big discount.
