Hello! Gosh I feel like I need to reintroduce myself after taking a 3+ month hiatus from the blog. Since I last posted a lot has happened… Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years… and you know, life. It felt great to get back out shooting again this weekend with a token sunny, yet frigid, day in Seattle. I thought my Cuyana trench coat would be enough for warmth… but I was gravely mistaken. Nevertheless, it is still one of the most flattering, classic trench coats out there and a staple in my closet.
A few other notes, unrelated to this outfit. If you have a Trader Joe’s nearby I recommend you go check out their “beauty” aisle for some, in my opinion, surprising products. Today, I bought their rose facial oil, which first, who even knew they sold that? I did not but after using it tonight and only spending a few bucks on it, especially compared to what major beauty brands are charging for relatively the exact same product I’m sold on it. They also are selling a rose water facial toner spray (read more about that here). I did not buy but for the price tag of $3.99 I could be persuaded. Oh TJ, the glorious gem of affordable beauty products, delicious cheese and $4 bottle wine. What’s not to love :)
Continuing on in the stream of conscious blogging, I have some major news that I hope to be sharing very soon on the blog (hence the abandonment for 3 months). My husband and I have been working on a new project together that we are so excited and passionate about. It’s been the most fun, stressful and rewarding challenge that we’ve ever faced and I cannot wait to share more. Until that happens, keep an eye on the blog for more updates as we get closer to announcing our project to the world.
